The only big downside to the uchi is that it deals slashing damage on non-thrust attacks where the BSS does normal damage. The BSS 2h heavy attack is a bit more useful than the uchi's. The uchi has stronger dex scaling where the BSS needs a bit more strength to get to reach similar AR.Personally I preferred the Uchigatana infused with sharp, for the dx bonus. Its faster than the claymore. Str-based weapons are generally heavier and slower, but there are exceptions. Some weapons use both attributes equally, and are better when used in a build with equal Str and Dex, aka a "Quality" build.
